November 1st, 2009 to November 7th, 2009

So we drove from Ontario all the way down to Wilmington, North Carolina. It took about 15 hours…

Our first day there, Monday Nov. 2nd, we went straight to the studios, where we learned James, Joy, Rob and Shantel were filming. And Lee and Lisa were filming in the afternoon. It was FREEZING cold outside so we left after a few hours.

Then we went to Clothes Over Bros, I think that was my favorite filming location, obviously because of Lisa It was so surreal to be there!

And of course, since it was Monday night, we watched OTH in our hotel room. It was pretty awesome to be watching OTH in Wilmington, lol!

The next day, we heard they were filming in Topsail (Clay’s beach house) so we drove there and waited ALL day for Shantel and Rob to come over. But we made friends with a lot of the crew guys there, Bill, Jim, Scott…

After we met Rob and Shantel, we asked a crew guy (I think it was Bill) if Mark was still inside the beach house (because Mark was there). But he told us Mark left like 3 hours ago, he walked right passed us. We thought it was weird because we were standing right by the driveway… So we left. Suddenly, a car pulls up next to us and the person goes: “I heard you were looking for me?”, we looked and it was Mark!!! He chatted with us for like 15 minutes, signed our things and took pics!

The next day, was Wednesday Nov. 4th. Mark told us Sophia, Austin and Jana were filming at the airport that night so during the day we visited filming locations!

Then in the evening we went to the airport. Filming started around 10pm and went on until 1am… We didn’t get pics with Austin and Sophia, but we saw them.

The next day was Thursday, Nov. 5th. We heard they were filming at the Hilton. A friend told me the last time they filmed there, it was Lisa and Andrea (Makenna). But since Lisa was also filming at the studios in the evening, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be her. But we found out, Jana, Lisa and Andrea were the ones filming there omfg I was so anxious to meet my Lisa!!! Me and my friends stayed by the entrance at the front. The trailers were parked on the other side of the street. So I kept an eye on the trailers there and I saw Lisa come out, it was a bit far but I recognized her instantly! I ran to my friends to say I saw her and when I came back she was gone. So I sat there and waited, she came out again so I started snapping away, lol!

Right after I took those pics, I saw her coming towards the hotel along with Jana. I ran to my friends to tell them. So I checked the stairs and saw her coming, I just stood there and didn’t say anything. I was SO intimidated and scared… So they walked to the entrance. My friends said hi, and I said nothing… My friends were like: “Why didn’t you say anything??”. I was too scared to say anything!

So we waited all evening for them to come back out after filming. Lisa had to be at the studios at 6:30pm to eat, and then back in the studios at 6:45pm. Around 6pm, my friends want to leave because they’re hungry, but there was no way I was going to leave and miss Lisa. So they left and I stayed… I had no idea how I’d manage to go up to Lisa, all on my own. I was dead scared to… So a crew guy came to me, Bill, he talked with us everytime he saw us at filming. So we talked and I told him how scared I was to talk to Lisa, that there is something going on between me and her and I’m afraid she doesn’t like me… Another crew guy comes along, Paul, he was giving a ride to the extras. Bill had to go so he asked Paul to stay with me. Paul tried to reassure me. He was a big help! So Lisa walks out, I walk slowly in her direction and said her name but I didn’t speak loud enough. I said her name louder and she came over… I had a pic of her in my hand, ready to sign. She signed the back… I wanted her to sign the front but I was so nervous I didn’t think about it… lol… She asked what my name was, and when I told her I was Marie, she totally knew who I was, she was like: “Mariiiieeee!!??”. Ugh I barely said anything! I wish I would have said more than what I said, ugh. I was so nervous and intimidated, I didn’t know how she’d react. But she was SO incredibly sweet to me. When I asked for a picture, Paul thought I didn’t ask her but Lisa said I did ask and she rubbed my arm! That simple gesture just made everything better. I felt so much better about “us”. At least now I don’t think she is upset with me, well I hope not!

So anyways, Lisa and I were supposed to meet again at the studios, to talk. In the meantime, Lee met with me and my friends, we talked for like 30 minutes, he’s the sweetest guy ever! So after that we waited for Lisa. But the security guard (who’s like the sweetest grandpa ever!!) told me he called inside and they told him Lisa was tied up inside and it could take all night… So I didn’t really want to wait all night. Lisa started filming around 11am that day and I knew she’d be tired after filming all night at the studios. So I just left. I was SO upset.

The next day, Friday Nov. 6th, we went to the studios late in the afternoon and ran into Lindsey McKeon (Taylor, Haley’s sister)!!!

Later that night, we were given a private tour!!! I was like a kid in a candy shop, snapping away, taking pictures of everything I could see! We saw Brooke’s house, Tree Hill High and Red Bedroom Records. We couldn’t see Mouth and Millie’s apartment because it contained some sort of spoiler.

Then on Friday night we went bar hopping, got drunk and came home at 4:30am… Well I did… My friends went home earlier, I stayed out until 4am. We also got tattoos right after Lee emailed us. It was my second tattoo. Mine is a celebration really, it’s a horse shoe with a four leaf clover on my right wrist, for luck And let me tell you, it paid off!!! I had the best week of my life. I’ll never ever forget my night with Lee and Lisa. I miss them both so much already!

So from the cast, I met Lisa, Lee, Shantel, Rob, Jana and Lindsey McKeon. I also saw Sophia, Austin and Paul but didn’t get to meet them. I was way more excited about the new cast than the old one anyway (except for Lee, and I still consider Lisa part of the newer cast). From the crew, I met Greg Prange, Michael Leone and Mark Schwahn. I also saw Joe Davola and Brendan Kirsch. Brendan was at Topsail, which totally caught me off guard. I wasn’t quick enough to get his attention, he jumped into a van and went to base camp. I asked Jim (crew guy) to go get him but Brendan had already gone back to Wilmington when Jim went to get him, bummer!!!

I wanna thank Bill, Jim and Russell for being so nice to us, talking to us while we waited and taking pictures with us. Thank you to Paul for staying with me as I met Lisa, your strength and kindness helped a lot! And thank you to Scott for giving Lisa my present, as I wasn’t sure if I’d see her.

Wilmington is full of great people, eager to help. The OTH crew is the most amazing crew ever, you can see they really care about the fans. And of course, the OTH cast is the best, nicest cast on TV!
